(5821) Double-wall wood coffer dam, or Double-wall timber sheeted coffer dam
A type of water coffer dam where two rows of timber sheeting are duly supported and braced and generally placed upon the bed. The space between them is filled with earth, and the sides protected against attack from the water outside by earth or rock embankments.
